UNDEAD: There are a few different kinds of Undead. As a general rule, they are the weakest monsters you will find in Holy Doom. The kind you’re able to play as is the Skeletal kind.
The Banshee: An undead which screams at you until you’re paralyzed and then it kills you and turns you into another Banshee is you’re a girl; if you’re a boy you just die. Deals 2d8 x 4 and can use Banshee Scream, which makes a girl character turn into a banshee for 3 turns, or for a boy character; makes him run away at full speed in any direction the Banshee chooses.
The Boggart: A spirit that played so many tricks in life that the people down in Doomville wouldn’t let them down there to have a true afterlife, so the boggarts just came back and decided to live a life – no, undeath of more tricking. Their abilities are Invisibility, where it turns invisible and is taken off of the playing field until it uses its next attack. Another power of theirs is where as they turn visible, they blow a kazoo very loudly and scares the living daylights out of all its enemies, making them unable to do anything for a turn. Their normal attack is 1d20 x 2.
The Ghost: An undead that was tormented so much that the folks down at Doomville wouldn’t let them down there either and they just let the person’s spirit become undead. Deals 1d20 and has a weakness to silver; silver-made weapons get plus 10 in all attacks against it.
The Ghoul: The same thing as a Ghost only it died because of the Zombie plague. It therefore has the same abilities as both a Ghost and a Zombie.
The Zombie: Either a person that ate the zombie plant (which grows in the Mushroom Kingdom), or got bitten by a person who already had the zombie plague. Deals 2d12 + 10 and is able to use Zombify which has a 50% chance (roll 10 or higher on d20) to transform the targeted enemy into a zombie for 2 turns.
The Revenant: A corpse that is raised back to undeath by a Necromancer (able to be summoned by a Necromancer class). Deals 1d20 and has a 1d6 chance (roll 3 or higher) to inflict Undead Revenant poison which deals an additional 1d20 every turn.
The Skeletal Undead: Also raised to undeath by a Necromancer, but unlike a Revenant it is the bones that are raised and not the entire corpse. Also unlike a revenant is that many of them have their own free will. Its attacks depend on what class it is (ones summoned by a necromancer do not have a class).
The Phantom: A phantom is a ghost, only killed in battle in a dark area. They forever roam the place that they were killed, occasionally emitting odd smells which smell somewhere between letting off gas and rotting flesh. Their attack, Shadow Bolt, deals 2d12 and can be used on a target up to 5 squares away.
The Specter: A Specter is a ghost that was destroyed by silver, but raised once again by a necromancer. Whenever a silver weapon is used against it the damage dealt is deflected at the attacker. Their melee attack deals 1d20 x 3, and they can also use Shadow Bolt, which deals 2d12 and can be used on a target up to five squares away.
The Doomwright: An undead who has refused to die in the first place. Because of this, Holyshire and Doomville punish them by granting there wish in a twisted way. When they wake up in the morning, they look normal. in an hour, they become a cross between a phantom and there race. then, whenever they first eat after this, they turn into a skeleton so they cannot taste. by evening, they have gone threw enough torture (heroes beating them up and all), that they try to kill themselves, but find they cant because they are undead. they then become a zombie and lose there brains so they cant remember what happened. they repeat this cycle everyday. they have the attacks of whatever they are at the time plus curse the gods which does 10 damage to themselves but 2d20x2.
