Welcome to The (Semi-)Majestic Lands of Holydoom!
The Lands, a vast expanse of all things imaginable. It Must be quite insulting to your imagination if all you can imagine are the nearly majestic Lands of Holydoom.
In the Fungi Kingdom, where the (sometimes poisonous) spores make you jump higher and the zombie death toll grows ever higher, resides a fair princess in pink and the evil Wowser (see Wow in bestiary) and his helpers, Wowser Sr. Mary Woopa, Molten Woopa Jr., McDonold Woopa, Icky Woopa, Boy Woopa, Lemmyseeit Woopa, and J.S. BacchhWoopa. Wowser and his servants are always trying to capture a certain princess in pink.
Visit Vazalon Isle for the thrill of your life. As long as you are thrilled by getting eaten. Just kidding, these lizard men are actually quite civil (although come to think of it, the mysterious meat they serve at their restaurants tastes a little suspicious...).
Find your way to the great Dwarflands to see the best darn caves you have ever seen. I mean, the Dwarves themselves are pretty darn short and have some hair disorder but that can easily be overlooked. . . literally.
At the marshes of Elftopia, the bogs and swamps of the area can harbor some pretty nasty creatures (though they are nothing compared to the bogs and swamps of the Fungi Kingdom). But the forests of Elftopia is the region of the country that the place is renowned for. Especially because of the resident Black Dragons...
Eporu seems to be half-Elftopia in terms of forests, and half-Dwarflands in terms of mountains. Though there are a few kinds of long grasses which grow 100 or so miles in in the far south of the region, but Eporu is mostly known for its forests and its mountains. The center of culture in The Lands, Eporu is ironically situated to the far west of any map of The Lands you'll ever get your hands on.
Arahos, a.k.a. the Southlands, a.a.k.a. the Wastelands a.a.a.k.a. some place you never want to go. When you put Waste and South into a blender and then bake it hard; spread it out on the ground more south than most sentient beings would ever go and curse the very ground with no rain, ever, you get Arahos. The place is a great source of Scorpions, Skaraklids, and even Wyverns.
Doom. Need I say more? The home of the Undead, you'll find every single undead there is exists in abundance here, and most kinds of dragons. The land is cracked and barren. From the cracks in the ground seep up an ominous glowing red light, and the wolves, scorpions, and manticores that hunt here in packs make for dangerous enemies. It was created by the demons as a port for the warriors from Doomville so they could search for Holydoom. It was created the same day as Holy.
The majestic ruins of Holy didn't use to exist. In fact, the bridge between Eporu and the Dwarflands was created for the same reason as Doom (only the opposite, because Holy leads to Holyshire, and the island of Doom leads to Doomville). Unfortunately, the portals there which lead between Holy and Holyville required the use of Darkness, something only creatures of darkness can *handle (without exploding with the force of an nuclear warheads). Long story short, they used darkness. Then they exploded, completely destroyed the utopia they had created. ever sence, its been swarming with monsters of all kinds.
* go figure
Here Be Dragons is a place inhabited mainly by dragons. It is home to the one and only remaining Narsizalxi, the worlds fiercest dragon, plus most of the remaining 5000 or so dragons. Only the bravest adventures go here. One of the islands is supposedly not an island at all, but the back of a gigantic black dragon. Ever since Doom came just south of it, the dragons have become agitated and for the first time in centuries began attacking helpless towns for no reason.
